Contact Details
You can keep a tremendous amount of information about each of your contacts.
It is organized into tabs to make it easier to enter and to find things.
Click on an email address to send an email.
Click on a phone number to call the contact using
Skype.
Upload a photo and it will show alongside the contact data.
You can send letters and run reports on your contacts.
Edit in Place
Need to make a change, such as a misspelled name?
Just click on it and type the new value.
Nothing could be easier.
Search
Finding contacts is easy to do. Start typing the first or last name or company name of a contact you are looking for.
A list of matching contacts will start to appear below the search box.
Click on one and their information will be shown.
Not sure how to spell a contact's name?
Contacts with names that 'sound like' what you typed are also shown.
If you have a contact named 'Smyth' and you type 'smith', it will show up.
Calendar
The group calendar allows you to keep track of your schedule and the schedule for your entire team.
The default is today's calendar.
With one click you can expand that to show the entire week.
You can schedule meetings with a contact and record it in the contact's history.
This way you have a running record of all of the meetings with any of your prospects or clients.
Meetings can be made private so that only you can see it.
If you also use Outlook, you can download any meeting as an ics file and save it in your Outlook.
Tasks
Stay on top of what you need to do with the task list.
Assign a task to yourself or someone else on your team.
Finished, just check the box to mark it as done.
Can't finish the task, just click on 'snooze' to delay it for a few days.
Details are available for each task such as who assigned the task and when and who completed the task and whe.
Workflow
You can save common tasks that you do regularly in your business.
For these tasks you can also create a set of steps required to complete the tasks.
The steps can be assigned to different team members.
Assign this task and start the 'workflow'.
Files and Photos
Upload files and photographs to Salestrakr.
Save documents associated with your contacts.
You can see the type of file, a description of it, even the size of the file.
Click on the filename to download it.
Email
Clicking on a contact's email address allows you to send email from Salestrakr.
The email is saved with the contact's history.
There is a 'rich text editor' available for creating formatted email.
Merge fields are can be used.
Email templates can be created for commonly used emails.
Your email signature and disclaimer are automatically added to your emails.
Attachments can be added to the email and the attached file is stored with the contact.
Email Dropbox
See all of your email communication with your contacts and still use your exisitng email client
such as Outlook, GMail or Mac Mail.
With Salestrakr each user has a unique email address for use as a dropbox.
By forwarding an email to this dropbox address, any contacts whose email addresses
match any of those in the email message will have a copy of that email stored with the contact.
Configure your email client to automatically forward incoming messages and blind-copy (bcc) outgoing messages.
Sales Pipeline and Sales Plan
Keeping track of sales is one of the most important features of Salestrakr.
It's also our name.
Every great sales organizations follows a sales progression.
This is configured as a pipeline.
With Salestrakr, you can create a sales pipeline that matches your business.
And follow sales leads through your pipeline to a close.
You can specify the likelihood of closing a sales from each stage.
And the typical cycle time to close form that stage.
You cans also enter a sales plan for each member of your team and track their results against the plan.
Sales Projection
Using the sales pipeline you created along with the likelihood and cycle time for each stage,
Salestrakr will help you project your sales.
For each prospect you can create a sales opportunity.
Enter the product you expect to sell and the potential sales amount.
You can see stage-by-stage how your sales funnel looks and what opportunities need attention.
This is great for sales managers to stay on top of the sales process.
Advanced Search
Build reports or merge lists using Advanced Search.
You pick what data you want returned and what the report rules are.
You can save the search criteria as a saved search and re-run it at anytime.
The data can be viewed on the screen or downloaded as an Excel file.
You can send group email to all of the contacts matching the search rules.
You can also assign a task to each of the contacts.
Reports
A number of common reports are available on the reports pop-up.
You can also re-run saved searches.

Configure tasks to be assigned or emails to be sent.
It is keyed off of your sales pipeline and the number of days in the pipeline stage.

Web Forms
Post data from a form on your website to Salestrakr.
A new contact is created in the system.
You can create a new task or a new sales opportunity.
You can also send an email to someone on your team to let them know someone has completed a form.
Using the Marketing Campaigns feature, you can automatically send a series of emails out to your new prospect.

Many common actions in Salestraker can be initiated using the keyboard.

Browser Encryption
Some data we keep about our contacts is especially sensitive.
A great example is the SSN (TaxID).
With Salestrakr, this data is encrypted before it is sent to our servers.
Unless you type in the correct password that you used to initially encrypt the data,
you will see gibberish, such as J1lhtkFkME6oS3ry instead of the actual Tax ID.
Customization
You can customize Salestrakr to work the way that is best for your business.
Create a list of common meeting subjects and locations.
Create different contact types.
Create a list of groups or categories for organizing your contacts.
Even create custom data fields for storing things Salestrakr does not already have.
Set up email templates, letter templates and card templates.
International Support
Dates and times can be displayed in the format you are used to seeing.

2 Factor Authentication
For an extra level of security, Salestrakr is offering optional 2 Factor Authentication.
If configured, when you login, you will be sent an additional one time password.
The password will be sent by SMS to your phone, or by email, or both.
Even if someone stole your password, they still cannot log in to Salestrakr without the one time password..
Data Import
You can import your existing contact data from a number of different contact managers.
The process is easy to do, just follow the instructions with screenshots.
